U.S. 2019 cancer prevention estimates are based on 2019 cancer prevalence proportions from the SEER 12 areas and the January 1, 2019, U.S. population estimates based on the average of 2018 and 2019 population estimates from the U.S. Bureau of the Census. The Alaska Native Tumor Registry only includes cases diagnosed among Alaska natives and is excluded from the analysis to avoid bias in the underlying calculations.
