Predicted mRNA Secondary Structures

Predicted mRNA secondary structures derived from predominant human formylpeptide receptor gene haplotypes 348T.568A (a) and 348C.568A (b). The positions of 348T and 348C are indicated by arrows in magnified portions of the two structures. The 348T variant forms a different predicted structure that the 348C variant and has a higher free energy of folding (dG), making it less stable.
