DOC Behavioral Interventions & Assessments Program
Overview
The Dental, Oral, Craniofacial (DOC) Behavioral Interventions and Assessments Program focuses on behavioral treatments, health promotion and maintaining good health, and intervention and outcome research. Typically, such research is conducted in medical, dental, community, healthcare, social, and related settings. Research incorporating comorbid or related medical conditions as well as person or systemic indices are especially welcome. Relevant research topics include, but are not limited to:
- Clinical trials, intervention trials, assessment, evaluation, and adherence projects
- Prevention, health promotion, and health maintenance
- Health care system and recording system change (e.g., technology, provider network interactions, clinician-driven aspects of behavioral health care, etc.)
- Medical and mental health comorbidity, its impact, and test construction
- Technology advances, innovation, and their uses across the clinical and health promotion spectra
