The Data Science, Computational Biology, and Bioinformatics Program focuses on challenges in integrating and analyzing high-volume and diverse data to better understand dental, oral, and craniofacial (DOC) biology and diseases. Data types include molecular, genetic, ‘omics, microbiome, and phenotypic data, as well as electronic health records. The program supports in silico data analyses of gene regulatory networks, systems biology studies, and artificial intelligence projects that focus on solving specific DOC questions or developing resources for basic and/or translational DOC research.
